About Jenny
(she-her-they-them)
I’m a curious being. Facts and figures from science are wonderful, I love geeking out about them especially related to the body or the natural world, but not when they end conversations or don’t leave room for the unknown. I’m interested in things of depth and also mystery. Things that turn on conversations and intimacy from first hand experience. Tuning into a felt sense of love each day is a priority for me. I absolutely do this with the roots and foundation of what I have studied, learned, & care about. Here are pieces of the puzzle that someone might turn to define me. My hope is that there nothing finite here but pieces of ground, center and heart from which I move.

Condensed Bio:
Jenny is a soft and wild teacher. She is a nurturer and an edge walker. Always willing to dive deep and seek the unexpected. Tuning in with her heart, mind and belly she sees the web of interconnection, personally and collectively, that is such a necessary healing salve in our world today. Making art, and deep connection to the natural world, feeds her soul and inspires her teaching each time she steps on the floor.
She has been teaching Conscious dance and movement for over 20 years. She has a Master’s degree in Leadership Education. She founded Presence Studio in Bellingham, Wa in 2010 where a thriving community makes her heart sing. She is Executive Director of Rite of Passage Journeys.
Open Floor Movement Practice is her modality of choice and she is a working member of this evolving organization. She contributes to the development of curriculum and training programs and travels internationally as a teacher.
In addition she has been a bodyworker who is infinitely fascinated by the fascia of the body and how it shape shifts and adapts for us to survive and thrive. Dreamwork, shamanic studies and prayerful healing trance is a lifetime muse of study. Her greatest daily influence is living on 14 acres by a wild river at a magical place called River Root Farm. Waking to the sound of chittering eagles, witnessing the changes of the river, and feeling the song of the forest and mountains is having its wild way with her…
