Weekly Open Floor Classes with Jenny Macke
Open Floor Community Dance:
Drop-in Sundays 10:30am-noon
We gather on Sunday mornings to practice Open Floor, a conscious dance practice, which offers tools for authentic connection to self, other, community and spirit. We dance. We release stresses from our week and create space for ourselves and others. A wide variety of music is played to move different kinds of energy through our bodies, minds, hearts and souls. We do it alone and together. No prior experience is necessary. Just a body willing to move and mind open to let go of things that might be fixed, in order to find more fluidity in our dances and life. This is a well held space but without a lot of instruction. For more teaching of the Open Floor practice we recommend a workshop, Ongoing Group or An Open Floor Groundfloor Lab!

“Pleasure is the point. Feeling good is not frivolous, it is freedom.”

We will go luxuriously slow and take our time.
All adults are welcome, regardless of gender identity, gender expression, biological sex, sexual orientation, relationship status, or dance experience. We strive to co-create an environment that is sex positive, inclusive, curious and expansive, and we strive to honor the experiences each person brings into the room.
